Last month, Byte Technology was invited to join a delegation of minority business leaders to foster a dialogue with a number of Congressional members on the Hill. This day-long event and reception discussed strategies to stimulate and maintain federal contracting opportunities to minority- and women-owned business across the country. Delegates included business leaders from California, Texas, Colorado, Georgia and Washington, DC.
In an effort to compete with search engine giants Google and Yahoo, Microsoft recently released their next generation search application called Bing. Bing is an evolution of previous Microsoft search applications - Live Search, Windows Live Search and MSN Search. Bing offers similar functionalities such as intelligent search suggestions as you type in search terms, and a list of related searches based on the semantics of the search terms.
